Fairhaven Homes is not the largest homebuilder in the Loudoun and western Fairfax area, so we aim to be the best. We are proud to say we build only a few custom homes in Loudoun and western Fairfax each year. This allows us to offer a personal attention to detail that would be missing in mass production. 

In regards to green building, we have always felt that it is important to invest money up front in a quality, environmentally friendly home simply because it’s the right thing to do. We believe that by building a home that lasts twice as long, you’re leaving half the carbon footprint.  We also believe that it’s easier to save energy than to create energy; i.e., build an airtight home before investing in solar panels.  (However, we always set up conduits so that solar panels can be added.)

We are committed to the communities in which we build and generously contribute our time and resources to making them better places to live. Charlie received the Roger Gregory 2008 Community Service Award for his efforts to help rebuild dilapidated homes for less fortunate members of his community.  He has also traveled to Biloxi, Mississippi with his daughters to rebuild after Katrina.  He and his family also take a group of mentally challenged adults from area group homes bowling once a month.
